In the summer of 2010, the Brooklyn-based home decor business Nightwood Design teamed up with the creators of the website Design*Sponge to host a series of lectures and design happenings. The series took place in Nightwood’s pop-up space, located in the building of its sponsor, be@schermerhorn. Because Nightwood Design and Design*Sponge each have distinctive idenities, the marketing materials needed to balance the needs of both while emphasizing the material-oriented themes of the events. The series was such a success, that Nightwood went on to host a second series in the Fall and Winter of 2010-2011.
